Import from Excel

Import from Excel

Introduction

Import requirements and test cases stored in traditional Excel or comma separated (CSV) format directly into QMetry. To perform the import, ensure you have the necessary access rights to the target project.

There are three major steps involved in import from Excel:

  1. Convert the requirement or test case file (XLS, XLSX, CSV) into QMetry field format.

  2. Import the file and map the QMetry fields and file columns.

  3. Verify the imported requirements or test cases.
