Tracking Import and Export Progress
Introduction
Import or Export bulk assets across multiple modules, without disrupting your workflow.
Import and export operations run seamlessly in the background as scheduled jobs. You can monitor progress, identify any issues, and download exported files directly from the Scheduled Tasks window.
View Progress
Once you initiate the import or export process, you can check the notification panel for progress updates.
Scheduled Task
The Scheduled Task icon turns orange when you initiate any of the following actions. It reverts to its original color once you click the icon to view the task status.
All bulk operations
Import: Issues, Test Cases, Test Suites, Requirements
Export: Issues, Test Cases, Test Suites, Requirements, Test Executions
Project Clone
View Import and Export Progress
To view import and export progress, perform the following steps:
Click on the Scheduled Task icon the application header. The Scheduled Task screen shows all the activities completed or in the queue.
The progress bar shows the following statuses for each of the imports:
Started: Indicates that the system has initialized the import.
In-Progress: Indicates that the system is currently processing the import.
Completed: Indicates that the system has successfully imported the records and completed the job.
Failed: It indicates that the entire import has failed due to an error. You can download the Excel file showing errors due to which the task failed.
Downloading the Exported File
Once the export is completed, the file is available for download. Click the Download icon to download the Excel file.
